Hi. On the poise my $3 coupon beeped and the clerk didn’t know what to do. At first she was going to give my coupon back to me. I asked if she could drop the coupon value down tp $2.99 so they did that. Is that the correct way to handle this? Thanks

I walked out of Rite Aid with free (75% off) Wet n’ Wild, Free Nivea, Free revlon tools – nail clippers, free poise, jelly beans – $7 in UPs. $1.23 OOP. SCORE! Thank you! Happy shopping.
Lynn is that the only thing you purchased? Most times the overage will go towards the balance. If the poise was $2.99 and you gave a $3 coupon and nothing else purchased, then the coupon had to be reduced. Don’t sweat the penny loss.
When the cashier scanned my coupon it beeped funny too. She said it wouldn’t be accepted since it was over the product’s price. She told me I had to add something to my order. I added Mentos and paid $1.43 for 2 Poise products and the candy. Got back $5.98 in UP Rewards.
