Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 large pieces broccoli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • grated parmesan
  • Lemon juice, optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425° F.
  2. Cut the florets of the broccoli off the stem and cut into desired size.
  3. Drizzle baking sheet with olive oil. Place broccoli on top and toss until broccoli is evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper generously.
  5. Sprinkle with some grated parmesan, reserving some for garnishing.
  6. Spread broccoli on baking sheet in an even layer.
  7. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until broccoli is easily pierced with a fork.
  8. Remove from oven, place in a serving dish and top with extra parmesan.
  9. Drizzle with some lemon juice if desired.
