Canned Biscuit Donuts

Ingredients
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • Sugar or powdered sugar
  • oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until a small piece of dough dropped in fries and bubbles to the surface.
  2. Lay the biscuits on a cutting board and using a lid to a soda bottle or a small round cookie cutter, cut out a hole in the middle of each biscuit.
  3. Fry in the oil until golden and using tongs or a fork, flip the donut over.
  4. Drain on paper towels and toss in sugar (add cinnamon to the sugar if you wish).
  5. Fry donut holes and toss in sugar as well.
