Easy Panko-Crusted Oven Fried Chicken Drumsticks

  • 6 Drumsticks
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp basil
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Olive Oil Spray
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  2. Spray a large cast iron pan or a large glass oven safe dish with olive oil spray.
  3. In a shallow dish, beat the egg.
  4. In a second shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, salt, paprika, garlic salt, oregano, basil and pepper.
  5. In a large slider bag put the flour.
  6. Add chicken drumsticks and shake well to completely cover.
  7. One at a time, dip the floured chicken into the egg to coat and then cover with panko crumb mixture.
  8. Place into oiled pan.
  9. Spray the top of the chicken lightly with olive oil spray to allow the tops to crisp up too.
  10. Bake chicken for 30 minutes, flip each piece and bake an additional 30 minutes or until done.
