My family LOVES corn on the cob but I can’t stand heating a huge pan of water and boiling it and heating my house up. Plus I’m prone to letting it boil over and make a mess. Instead, we make “Cooler Corn”- plus it keeps the corn hot!
Corn on the Cob, shucked
A clean Cooler
Boil water. Place corn in the clean cooler. Pour boiling water over corn. Close Cooler and let corn steam for 40 minutes. Remove as needed to eat.
*Note: Water corn boils in STINKS if allowed to sit overnight. Be sure to dump the water and rinse the cooler immediately after use and don’t procrastinate until the next morning!
