I know that Halloween may look different for some of us this year. Personally I made a deal with my kids (aged 17…but still goes along with her siblings, twin 12 year olds and a 7 year old). The deal we made was we’d skip trick or treating and costumes- but they’d each get to pick out $10 worth of candy on November 1st. Normally Halloween candy lasts my kids until the NEXT Halloween so they KNEW that $10 of 75% off candy would be a TON.
That said- Isabella was a little sad she wouldn’t get a new costume (she loved dressing up and playing in it after Halloween) so when we were are the Dollar Tree getting some things for a new DIY project….we spotted this
We ended up getting 2 costumes: 1 Knight and 1 Lady Bug for $6 + tax
Knight Costume 3 pieces for $3
Lady bug Costume 3 pieces $3
Review: these are clearly DOLLAR TREE pieces. They look SUPER CUTE but won’t hold up for too many wearings.
Isabella is 7 and all the pieces fit her. The chest plate on the Knight costume hung pretty low so I used a rubberband to tie it up in place.
The skirt was VERY stretchy and would fit both much smaller and much bigger than her (keep in mind Izzy can squeeze into 4T when she wants LOL).
Don’t want to go the Dollar Tree route? I found some already pulled together!
