Easy to make bib! Make them for extras at home for your own little one or as a great gift!
Materials:
1. Receiving blankets
2. Towel
3. Thread
4. Sewing machine
5. Pinking shears
6. Snap closure and tool or Velcro
7. Pencil or skewer
Directions:
1. Layer the materials in this order: towel on bottom, two layers of receiving blankets with right sides touching on top of towel.
2. Find a printable bib pattern or use a bib you already have.
3. Place the bib pattern on top of the receiving blanket.
4. Trace the outline of the bib onto the top layer of fabric.
5. Remove the pattern and pin the layers of fabric together inside the outline.
6. Sew along the line, leaving a 3 inch opening on one side.
7. Using pinking shears to cut along the sewn line, leaving a bit more fabric at the opening so that it can be sewn closed.
8. Turn the bib inside out, using the skewer to help with tight corners.
9. Fold in the fabric at the opening and pin.
10. Sew around the edge of the bib.
11. Attach a snap closure or piece of Velcro on the tab of the bib.
