I found this centerpiece from a wedding on my cabinet and decided to change it up a bit. With some twine and beads I gave it a new look.
Materials:
- Center piece of your choice
- Twine, string or yarn
- Beads
- Masking tape
Instructions:
1. Tie a string around the base of the centerpiece to be the anchor for all the strings.
2. Cut strings about twice as long as the jar. Fold the string in half and attach them to the anchor string with this type of knot. Put a small piece of masking tape on the end of each string so they will thread thru the bead.
3. Go up the string several inches and take one string from each string you attached and put on abed. Take two more strings and go up about 2 inches and either tie a knot to add another bead. Continue with this pattern all the way around the jar until you read the top.
Tie off all the strings several times when you get to the top.
Fill it with water, decorative rocks and a candle or flowers for an interesting centerpiece.
