Coffee cake is our family’s favorite sweet breakfast and this is super easy and delicious. My grandfather drizzles his coffee over his but we like it warm with our coffee (or cocoa) on the side. I like mine really brown sugar-y so I usually top it off with a little extra brown sugar to give it a little crunch and extra yumminess!
- 4 cups Bisquick
- 1⅓ cup milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 tbsp butter
- ⅓ cup Bisquick mix
- Heat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 pan.
- In small bowl, mix 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 4 tbsp butter and ⅓ cup Bisquick until crumbly.
- In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients until smooth. Spread half of batter in pan.
- Top with half of brown sugar mixture.
- Spread remaining batter on top and then top again with remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Bake 25 minutes or until a pick comes out clean.
