My family loves to make candy at Christmas. Melting white or dark chocolate is so easy and versatile. You can add almost anything to it andyou can cover almost anything with the chocolate! This time I took a large candy cane and crushed it and mash it into the white chocolate and then broke it into pieces. It is not only delicious but it makes an attractive holiday table decoration as well.
Materials:
- Double boiler or two similar size pans
- White chocolate bark
- Peppermint candy canes or sticks
- Cookie sheet covered in parchment paper
Instructions:
- Put 1 inch of water in bottom of broiler pan or larger of the two pans
2. Melt the bark over medium heat until smooth
3. Pour onto parchment paper on cookie sheet and put into freezer until slightly set
4. Break up candy into small pieces with small mallet
5. Push candy into chocolate bark and put back into freezer until set
6. Break it up into pieces and enjoy!
