The other day I talked I about my family’s “debt-diet” but one part I should have mentioned is that debt and credit are different (although related). Having a lot of debt is bad while having a good credit score is good. I have been signed up with Credit Sesame for about a year or so now & LOVE having access to my credit scores & reports.
It is a free service (no credit card, etc to sign up). Even on a debt-diet it’s important to keep track of our credit scores & reports because it affects more than just our ability to get a credit card (some jobs even run credit checks!). For more information, or to sign up, check it out here.
