A while ago I purchased too many bananas. I was afraid we were going to be having a bunch of banana bread- something no one really likes in my family!
Instead I decided to pull out my beloved chocolate and make some Banana Dippers.
Ingredients:
Bananas
Dipping Chocolate
Nuts (optional)
Directions:
Slice Bananas and place on wax or parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Place in freezer until solid.
Melt Chocolate according to directions.
Dip Bananas in Chocolate and if desired top with pecan or other nut.
Allow to cool and harden on parchment or wax paper in freezer.
Store in Freezer.

also if you pull the bananas apart from the stalk they will not ripen so fast.
