I'm a from scratch WITH CREAM mashed potatoes gal but I do always. keep some instant potatoes on hand.

 

Here are a few ways I use the instant potatoes:

  • If you add TOO much cream and need to thicken mashed potatoes
  • Add to meatballs or meatloaf
  • Mix with breadcrumbs or panko to make fried chicken or fish
  • Thicken soups and stews
