We carry them around with us all the time, we use them to Facebook, to message, to talk to friends & family. Why not use them to save a little money?
Here are my top favorite phone apps for saving (or earning) money:
Ibotta: Buy a product, scan your receipt and then see the money placed in your Ibotta account. Earn $10 and cash it out and have the money placed in a paypal account. You can use coupons in store too!
MoolaSavingMom: Get quick access to the latest deals, find a coupon or find a sale!
Checkout51: Buy a product, scan your receipt with the app (you can also use a computer) and then see the money placed into your Checkout51 account. Save up $20 and cash out! You can use coupons in store on *some* offers. be sure to read the fine print of each offer.
Fetch: Earn points for purchasing select brands.
Coin Out: Earn a few pennies for each receipt uploaded.
Coupons: A refresh from Coupons.com these are now rebates instead of printables. You can print coupons here.
Coupon Double Check: Allows you to scan a coupon to see if it will double if scanned at the register or not. Invaluable for those coupons that have the new bar codes – it allows you to alert the cashier that it won’t auto double when it should according to store policy. (i-products only)
Grocery Store Apps: This will vary based on what stores you shop- but see if your grocery store offers a phone app! I use my Harris Teeter app in the store all the time to check my e-vic coupons or Weekend offers! Food Lion’s app is great for adding digital coupons and following Shop & Earn.
Tip: be sure to share the rebate apps with your friends who don’t already use them. Referral bonuses in these apps are usually pretty high…they are free apps so your friends will never have to pay anything.
