Make it Mondays are brought to us by Rebecca of Tumbleweed Preschool in Advance, NC. She is always looking for frugal DIY projects for her students and her home. We are sharing Rebecca’s DIY project on MoolaSavingMom.com because they can be used for home schoolers, young artists and anyone else who wants DIY ideas that can save them money on projects around the house.
Colored corn is a great thing to put in a sensory table. I put corn in a zip loc bag. I added rubbing alcohol (about 1/2 cup to a gallon size bag) and added some food coloring (10-20 drops). I did this for each color I wanted. I turned the bag over several times for a few hours. I dumped the corn on a cookie sheet and let it dry for a few days and then put them in the sensory table.
