These are SO adorable! Christmas Tree Cupcakes are easy to make but can take a little time. If you don’t want to create an entire forest of them- make one or two and surround them with white or green iced cupcakes!
Ingredients:
Cupcakes of choice
Icing (white and green)
Sprinkles of Choice
White Chocolate
Waffle Ice Cream Cones
Tools Needed:
Star Tip for Icing
Directions:
Ice Cupcakes with White Icing.
Take a waffle cone and lightly spread green icing over it.
Place the cone on top of the cupcake- pressing to secure it.
Use a Star Tip to create ‘branches’ on the tree.
To add the sprinkles you can’t sprinkle them from the top because all the sprinkles will stay around the top- you will need to add them from the sides. We found it was best to actually toss the sprinkles at the sides of the cones.
To Make the White Star for the top:
Melt White Chocolate Bark and spread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Spread it in a thin later- too thick and it will be too heavy.
Allow to cool while cupcake icing sets. Use a small star cookie cutter to cut star shapes out of chocolate.
Attach star to top of cone tree with icing.
