Pool Noodle Ring Toss
You will need:
9 pool noodles
3 empty toilet paper rolls
duct tape
4 18” dowel rods or stakes
3 12” dowel rods or stakes
2 ink pens
sharp knife
To make the rings:
Cut down the side of the toilet paper rolls so that they unroll.
Reroll tightly, starting with the longest side.
Insert halfway inside of each pool noodle.
Bend the noodle and insert the remaining half into the opposite end to create
a circle.
Tightly duct tape together.
Repeat to create three rings.
To make the game:
Note: Because the lengths vary between brands, no specific dimensions are given in
order to minimize waste.
Cut two pool noodles in half.
Cut four more pool noodles, by cutting 1/4th the length from one end. You
will end up with one short piece and one long piece from each noodle. (It is
helpful to use the halves you cut as a guide.)
Back Row: Press the four 18” dowel rods into the ground in a line,
approximately 18” apart. Place the longest noodles over the rods.
Middle row: Press the three 12” dowels into the ground, approximately 18”
from the back row. Take care to center these between the back row. Place
the halved noodles over the top (you will have an extra)
Front row: Press two ink pens into the ground, approximately 18” from the
middle row. Take care to center them between the middle row. Place two of
the short pieces over the pens. (you will have two extras)
