Ok I LOVE this project to turn a Starbucks Frappuccino bottle into cute Farmhouse decor and it was so inexpensive it was nearly free!
What you need:
- Empty and cleaned Frappucchino Bottle (and lid)
- Adhesive remover (I prefer this brand)
- White Acrylic Paint (I used Apple Barrel)
- Black Acrylic Paint (I used Apple Barrel)
- Stencil (I used a Cricut to make mine but you can buy one)
Steps:
-Remove all the labels and any sticky adhesive using adhesive remover. Wash and allow to dry completely.
-Pour some white paint inside the bottle and tilt and roll the bottle to run the paint down and around the bottle. Aim for about 2 inch wide strips at a time. You may need to add more paint.
-Continue until the entire bottle is coated inside. To get the very top- place some old newspaper down and hit the bang the bottle to get the very top. Wipe the top so that there is no paint on the outside.
-Allow to dry completely. This can take up to 2 days depending on the paint.
-When dried, apply the stencil or decal and apply paint.
-Remove stencil while the paint is still mostly wet for best results if using acrylic paint.
-Use black paint to coat the lid and allow to dry completely before re-installing.
