y’all this hose was DRIVING me crazy. We had it professionally replaced 2 years ago when the old faucet broke and it was never as tight as it should have been.
Basically the new faucet screws were in the exact same holes as the old one- so over time they just wiggled loose. The copious amount of silicon the plumber used was no match.
For under $12 I found an easy solution that took about 10 minutes to install.
This Spigot Mounting plate slipped right over the existing but loose faucet.
But it was really easy- we just neglected to drill the pilot holes for the metal screws.
This plate allows the new screws to be set away from the original worn out ones and it is SO tight now and doesn’t move at all.
Easy-Peasy and SO much cheaper than calling a plumber to come out and reinstall.
If you have a loose exterior faucet- I highly recommend this Spigot Mounting plate .
