This is easy to make and you can make it larger or smaller. You can even change the theme and make it for Christmas, birthdays or whatever you want. If you can fold paper, you can make it!
Materials:
- Cardstock with the theme
- A picture of something pertaining to your theme (I cut the jack-o-lanterns out of another piece of cardstock)
- Tacky glue (or other thick craft glue)
- Ribbon
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Cut your cardstock into strips (Mine are 4″ wide. I took a 12″ by 12″ piece of cardstock and cut it into three 4″ strips. I then glued them together short end to short end to make one long 4″ strip)
- On the back of the strip draw a line every 1/2″ pushing hard with the pencil. (You can make your thinner or thicker marks depending on how you want the fold to look)
- Do an accordion fold the entire length of the strip.
- When you have finished folding the strip turn it over and glue the open ends together. (It will now be a cylinder shape)
-
- After the glue has dried carefully push it down in the center and it will be circular.
- Glue a piece in the center on the front (any shape you want) and attach your photo to that piece.
That is it. Make it as big or small as you want the steps are the same.
