Make it Mondays are brought to us by Rebecca of Tumbleweed Preschool in Advance, NC. She is always looking for frugal DIY projects for her students and her home. We are sharing Rebecca’s DIY project on MoolaSavingMom.com because they can be used for home schoolers, young artists and anyone else who wants DIY ideas that can save them money on projects around the house.
This is a great project to use at school or home. You can use liquid water color for painting straight from the container with brushes, put it in a spray bottle and spray on paper to make beautiful, colorful pictures and use it to refill those dried out stamp pads! This will save you a lot of money and it only takes minutes to make. The colors are vibrant!
Supplies:
- water
- vinegar
- liquid food coloring
- containers with lids (I used left over glass containers with corks from my daughters wedding)
Procedures:
- boil water
- for every 2 cups of water add 2 TBS of vinegar
- add 20 drops of food coloring per 2 cups of water
- let cool and put in containers
