I love how these coasters turned out. They don’t take very long to make and are washable too!
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut one cord 80″
- Cut six cords 30″
- Tie a slipknot about 10″ from one end of the 80″ cord
- Attach the six cords inside where you just made a slipknot using a larkshead knot, then pull it tight making a small circle
- Take the long end of the 80″ cord and lay it in over the cords in the circle tying a clove hitch knot with each cord
- Continue over and over until the coaster is about 4″ across. You will need to add additional cords as you go around where there is gap between cords
- Tie off the cord with an overhand knot
- Cut the cords for the trim a few inches long and untwist
