Make it Mondays: Macrame Plant Hanger

Macrame plant hangers are a great way to display your plants and you can use them indoors or outdoors!

Materials:

• Macrame Cord
• Ring for top of hanger

Instructions:

(See pictures below for instructions on how to tie the knots)

1. Cut 8 cords about 3 times longer than you want the plant hanger to be (This is based on the pictured plant hanger, if you want more knots make your cords longer)
2. Fold the cords in half and put thru the rings and secure with a wrap knot
3. Divide the cords into groups of four and tie square knots and half knots to make each strap
4. To make the portion to hang the pot take two cords from two straps next to each other and tie a knot about halfway down the pot, alternate cords and tie another knot
5. Gather all the cords and tie a wrap knot to finish the hanger and trim the cords to desired length
