Make it Mondays: Pre-K Number Song Activity

Make it Mondays are brought to us by Rebecca of Tumbleweed Preschool in Advance, NC. She is always looking for frugal DIY projects for her students and her home. We are sharing Rebecca’s DIY project on MoolaSavingMom.com because they can be used for home schoolers, young artists and anyone else who wants DIY ideas that can save them money on projects around the house.

Number Song

This is a wonderful activity to do with pre-k children. Sing the song along with the CD and show each number card as you sing the number. You can download the song here for $.99: Count Bounce – Kids In Motion. This can also be used  independently by children in a listening center.

Rebecca Burriss is an educator of children and avid DIYer. She raised four daughters and taught them how to do make lots of things including ceramics, elaborate doll houses, wood projects and even home interior design projects.

Rebecca runs an in-home preschool where she teaches preschoolers how to make all types of age appropriate things, generally from items she finds around the house and in her husband’s workshop.
Rebecca has expanded her DIY projects to refinishing furniture, simple tables and art projects including making all of the manipulatives and toys she uses in her classes. Rebecca’s DIY projects not only save money, but most of the projects can be tailored to fit the individual ages and needs of her students.
