This is a quick and easy way to dress up a plain shirt.
Materials:
- Shirt
- 2 Lace inserts
- Sewing machine
- matching thread
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut the shirt on the side seams an inch shorter than the height of the lace insert
- Pin the lace insert to the shirt spreading the seam to about 1/2 less than the width of the lace insert
- Sew forward and reverse several times at the top of the lace and then sew around the outside of the lace on both sides. Be sure to sew forward and reverse several times at the where the lace hits the bottom of the shirt.
- Turn the lace over and trim any excess shirt near the sewing.
That is all there is too it. Now where your old shirt that is now in style!
