I had taken an old headboard years ago and made a ladder type towel holder. I never used it so I took it apart and used the wood to make a small stool.
Materials:
- Thick wood for seat
- Pieces of hardwood flooring to make the legs
- Wood Glue
- Paint
- Stencil (If desired)
Instructions:
- I cut the hardwood floors to the height I wanted the stool to be
- I sanded the finish off the hardwood floor
- I cut the curved pieces into 4 equal pieces
- I glued and screwed the 4 pieces together to make the stool seat
- I sanded all the finish off the seat after the glue dried
- I glued and nailed the legs to the stool seat
- Paint and add stenciling if desired!
The finished stool is about 13″ Tall x 14″ Wide.
