Make it Mondays: Wooden Reindeer

My husband was looking for something to make and he decided to try his hand at reindeers made out of trees.

Materials:

• Tree for the body
• Tree for head (Smaller diameter than the tree for the body)
• Tree for the neck (Smaller diameter than the head)
• Trees for legs (Smaller diameter than the neck
• Hole saw drill bit (2 sizes)
• Circular saw
• Caps or washers for eyes
• Red bead for nose (If you want to make it Rudolph)

Instructions:

1. Use the circular saw to cut the body the length you want
2. Use the circular saw to cut the head the length you want
3. Use the circular saw to cut a neck the length you want
4. Use the circular saw to cut 4 legs
5. Drill a hole in the head and body for the neck using the larger hole saw drill bit
6. Drill 4 holes in the bottom of the body for the legs using the smaller hole saw drill bit
7. Attach the eyes with screws or nails
8. Attach a red nose if desired

You can add antlers, eyelashes, ribbons or lights as desired.
