Make it Mondays: Magazine Basket

I was tired of magazines just laying all around the living room so I decided to take some pallet wood and make a basket for them.

Materials:

• Pallet wood (I cut four pieces 15″ long & 4 pieces 5″long for the sides & 1 piece that was 5 1/2 wide I cut 15.5″ long for the bottom)
• Wood glue
• Nail gun and nails
• Old door knobs
• Large wood dowel to be cut into short pieces for feet
• Stencils
• Paint

Directions:

1. Lightly sand the wood and glue and nail it together.
2. Sand and paint the old door knobs.
3. Stencil a design onto the long sides of the basket.
4. Attach the door knobs to the short sides of the basket to be used as handles.
5. Attach pieces of dowel rod for feet by screwing them from inside the base of the basket

Now fill it up with all the magazines laying around and you are done!
