Make it Mondays are brought to us by Creations by Ra-Re. Ra is a Kindergarten teacher by day and crafter by night. Re is a pre-k teacher/bookkeeper/content curator and avid DIYer. Their Store, Creations by Ra-Re, is a collection of unique hand-made collections.
This is a cute spring door decoration. You can make it any color or size.
Materials:
- Thin wood
- Spray Paint (colors and primer)
- Burlap
- Glue gun
- Twine
- Tacky Glue
- Scrap Book paper
- Ribbon
- Drill
Steps:
- Cut out the flower and center circle from the thin wood
- Glue burlap on the petals
- Paint the petals with primer
- Glue the scrap book paper on the center using Tacky glue
- Paint each petal while covering the others with paper
- Glue twine around the edge of each petal and around the circle using a glue gun
- Attach the circle to the petals
- Drill two holes for the ribbon
- Tie ribbon thru each hole
