Every time I visited my grandmother and she made pies we always made pie crust cookies. They are so good!
Ingredients:
Pie Crust Scraps (I used a Pillsbury pie crust and simply cut out the cookies)
Sugar
Melted Butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Place parchment paper in baking sheet if desired (I was out so I use foil)
Place pie scraps or cut outs on baking sheet and brush with butter.
Sprinkle sugar over cookies,
Bake 15-20 minutes until cookies begin to brown.
Allow to cool on rack.
*Optional: A cinnamon sugar mixture is also delicious! Mix 1/4 cp sugar with 2 tbs. cinnamon.
