I love ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls and the secret that I learned from my grandmother- brown sugar! Brown sugar and better makes these good you won’t want to eat just one. And the secret to not having to make and roll dough? Use packaged pizza dough!
You could add in pecans or raisins. These aren’t a perfect substitute for homemade cinnamon roll dough – but in a pinch they are perfect!
- 1 pkg refridgerated pizza dough
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- Preheat 375F.
- Grease 9x9 inch pan or large pie pan.
- Unroll pizza crust.
- Spread softened butter evening over the dough leaving a small strip on one side unbuttered.
- Sprinkle evenly with sugars and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly long way towards the unbuttered end.
- Pinch seam closed.
- Slice into even sections and place into greased pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking mix the milk and powdered sugar together to make icing.
- Top with icing and enjoy (Hot is best!)

What does the word “evening” mean your recipe? “Spread softened butter evening over the dough leaving a small strip on one side unbuttered”
