Did you know all Publix locations that offer sushi participate in “$5 Sushi Wednesday?” That means that each Wednesday you can choose from a select variety of sushi for only $5.
At my store Spicy Shrimp, California Roll, Cream Cheese with Shrimp and Vegetable Combo were marked at $5 but check your stores!

How much is sushi at Publix?
Every Wednesday it is just $5! The rest of the week it is regular retail.
Is Publix Sushi good?
I don’t eat seafood but the reviews are pretty good for grocery store sushi! It is made fresh daily inside Publix Ad. It may not compete with your favorite restaurant but for $5 on Wednesdays it’s a good buy.

What time does Publix start serving Sushi?
Every week I am shopping by around 10 am and they have several options by that time and the employees are making more. They have trained employees who make the sushi fresh all day long until around 4pm.

Some publix have a good selection but (Taft st. Hollywood only California rolls) some are better than others. Look around and ask what else they have if they don’t have much. If they have a sushi maker they will make requests if it is on their $5 list.

Do you know if there are other daily specials that are not advertised? I knew of this one (but of course forget about it seemingly every week), but wasn’t sure if Publix did something on other days as well.
