My husband came home raving about this Terikayi Chicken with Onion Sauce from Subway. So I did some looking around online and combined a few recipes to come up with one that worked for my family (and what I had on hand) to get two thumbs up and a “Can you make this again?” from hubby!
Ingredients:
3 Chicken Breasts
Teriyaki Marinade
Sauce:
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp dried onions (you could use up to 1 tbsp but we don’t like lots of onions)
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tsp white distilled vinegar
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp poppy seeds
Just a pinch of salt (I used Sea Salt)
Just a pinch of garlic powder
Cracked black pepper to taste
