My family’s favorite appetizer is chicken wings. Since we’ve been trying to eat at home more I decided to make our own at home using a small fryer (I got mine here). We prefer un-breaded wings so that’s the recipe below. It’s much easier than you’d think!
- 12 chicken wingettes, dried well
- ⅔ cup hot sauce
- ½ cup cold butter
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- Oil for Deep Fryer
- Heat oil in the fryer.
- Add chicken and fry 9 -12 minutes.
- While chicken is cooking, melt the butter.
- Add hot sauce, cayenne pepper and garlic powder.
- Wisk together. Drain the chicken on paper towels when done.
- Toss in sauce.
- Serve hot with celery and ranch.
