Fair warning that these are NOT good for you (but honestly very few of the most delicious recipes are!) but they are so easy!
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- Sugar or powdered sugar
- oil for frying
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until a small piece of dough dropped in fries and bubbles to the surface.
- Lay the biscuits on a cutting board and using a lid to a soda bottle or a small round cookie cutter, cut out a hole in the middle of each biscuit.
- Fry in the oil until golden and using tongs or a fork, flip the donut over.
- Drain on paper towels and toss in sugar (add cinnamon to the sugar if you wish).
- Fry donut holes and toss in sugar as well.
