Guys…I was SOO excited about this! I grabbed a few of these lights the other day for my office since it has no overhead lighting. When I saw that you could hang them from the wall it was a game changer for me!
I’m working on changing up my bedroom so excuse the bare tables and uninspiring linens…but I haven’t found exactly what I am looking for yet.
I spotted these LED Desk Lamps at my Dollar Tree (check at the front of the store) and am SOO glad I grabbed several. I used two in my bedroom and plan to use more in my office on the wall!
(p.s. if you can’t find them at your Dollar Tree they are on Amazon but are just under $15 each)
Each light actually includes screws, dry wall anchor AND a bracket on the bottom the lamp to hang it on the wall. I used painters tape to mark the position on of the screw holes on the back of the lamp and measured how high up to place it. Then I screwed into the wall through the tape. Easy Peasy!
I plan to get some cord covers (like these here) and will paint the same wall color.
The lights put off a LOT of light so I’m LOVING them and the necks are flexible so you can shine it where you need.
P.s. Check out how I made the Wall Art on a Budget too!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dollar Tree. I’m a big crafter so I love finding a Craft Corner store (which has a BIG supply of crafting supplies) and it’s often my
Here is a list of things to ALWAYS buy at the Dollar Tree and what to NEVER buy there.
ALWAYS buy the wrapping paper.
Even though the rolls are smaller than the big stores- you will never beat a buck a roll! I love being able to have each kids’ presents in their own design at Christmas.
ALWAYS go for the helium balloons.
You won’t find a better price and they actually have a BIG selection. You’ll pay a LOT more at the party store than you will at the Dollar Tree.
ALWAYS go disposable.
As much as I try to not be wasteful, on big holidays I have to depend on disposable trays to keep myself from standing by the sink for hours. The variety of disposable pans at the Dollar Tree is unbeatable. Considering similar products are $4+ at the grocery store.
Always go for the pregnancy tests.
Pregnancy tests at the drug store are pretty pricy but the Dollar Tree version actually is really accurate. If you are trying for a baby, keep a few on hand to test as needed and go for the expensive ones only when you really want to verify the test.
Always go for LA’s Totally Awesome.
Seriously ..this is the best Dollar Tree ever! It works on everything from upholstery to floors. It really is TOTALLY Awesome.
My local Dollar Tree has a freezer section and it can hold some amazing bargains! You can see all the Dollar Tree deals here.
Don’t you love a dinner that you can make on a dime? To make this tasty Pistachio Crusted Tilapia, all you need to do is run to your local Dollar Tree store. It should have everything you need to make the tasty meal you see here! In no time you can have a dinner for two that tastes great and keeps a little cash in your pocket. Take a look!
I love my Dollar Tree. I love being able to grab something and know it’s only $1. I REALLY loved it when they started accepting coupons. I’ve gotten several good deals there and my store is generally very friendly.
When their policy first came out it limited internet printed coupons to “2 per transaction” which I gave them the benefit of the doubt “They are new at this…let them learn that they DO get reimbursed and they will update it later”…well they did update it & some was good and some was bad. They are now accepting B1G1 free coupons but they limited the internet coupon even more.
Almost every grocery and drug store limits the number of “like” coupons but I have never seen one limit a number of internet coupons like they have. If it was 2 “like’ internet printed coupons that would be cool- because generally we only get 2 prints per computer anyway but how does it make a difference if I use a internet coupon for Cepacol and then a different one for Hefty bags?
What do you think? To me it seems like a trade off- we can use B1G1 now but only 2 internet coupons per day/household.
Here is the new policy (available here) I highlighted the major changes in red.
Thanks DollarStoreDeals for the heads up the updated policy.
