We are a grilling family- we’ve been known to grill in our winter jackets and toboggans! So now that the warm weather seems to be here for a while now- we are grilling up everything we can!
There are lots of recipes that call for adding brown sugar and/or cinnamon but we prefer to let the grill and heat to add a little extra flavor rather than covering it up with lots of excess sugar – but if you want to try a brown sugar recipe check out this one.
It’s so easy to slice a pineapple with this pineapple slicer.
Then you have a long coil of pineapple that you can easily make into rings.
Then it’s literally just putting them on the grill and cooking them a little – they go amazing with almost any dish but I think my favorite is to serve them with BBQ ribs and hushpuppies!
- 1 Pineapple, sliced into rings
- Preheat Grill to medium-high heat.
- Place pineapple slices on grill and cook until light caramelization begins.
- Flip pineapple and cook the other side.
- Serve.
