My daughter had a beautiful country table with 6 chairs but it was green and it didn’t match anything in her house. We sanded it down, stained the top of the table and the chairs and painted the rest of it white.
- Sand the top of the table and the chairs to bare wood
- Sand all other surfaces lightly to take off the gloss
- Stain the top surfaces
- Paint all other surfaces
- Apply 3 – 5 coats of Polycrylic to all stained surfaces following directions on the can and 1 coat of Poycrylic to the white surfaces
Let dry for 24 hours and then you are set to use your new table!
