I had taken an old headboard years ago and made a ladder type towel holder. I never used it so I took it apart and used the wood to make a small stool.

Materials:

• Thick wood for seat
• Pieces of hardwood flooring to make the legs
• Wood Glue
• Paint
• Stencil (If desired)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

1. I cut the hardwood floors to the height I wanted the stool to be
2. I sanded the finish off the hardwood floor
3. I cut the curved pieces into 4 equal pieces
4. I glued and screwed the 4 pieces together to make the stool seat
5. I sanded all the finish off the seat after the glue dried
6. I glued and nailed the legs to the stool seat
7. Paint and add stenciling if desired!

The finished stool is about 13″ Tall x 14″ Wide.

 

I did not have anything to make pizza crust with so I decided to use potatoes.

 Ingredients:

• Potatoes
• Pizza Sauce
• Pepperoni
• Shredded Cheese
• Butter

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

1. Slice the potatoes 3/4 of the way thru
2. Spread butter over the potatoes
3. Bake at 450 degrees until tender
4. Put pepperoni into each slice
5. Cover with pizza sauce
6. Cover with cheese and bake until brown

 

 

 

 

I threw this together at the last minute and it ended up being delicious!

Ingredients:

• Pork Tenderloin
• Soy Sauce
• Pineapple Chunks
• White Rice
• Onions
• Olive Oil

Steps:

1. Cut up the pork into site sized pieces
2. Cut up the onions
3. Cook the  onions and pork pieces in the olive oil until tender
4. Cook rice
5. Add pineapple chunks to pork before serving
6. Serve over rice

Absolutely delicious!

 

This is an easy project to make. You can find most of the items around your house. It is cute to hang on your front door.

Materials:

• Sticks of your choice
• Glue gun
• Twine
• Feathers
• Sticky back glitter foam
• Ribbon

Instructions:

1. Cut a slash in both ends of bow
2. Braid twine and insert into one end
3. Hold bow taunt and insert twine into the other end
4. Wrap ends with additional twine and hot glue the ends
5. Cut a slash in one end of arrow
6. Cut our two hearts and stick together and insert into slash on end of arrow
7. Cut pieces off a feather
8. Hot glue several pieces at a time to end of arrow
9. Wrap end with twine and hot glue ends of twine
10. Wrap arrow with ribbon gluing both ends of the ribbon with hot glue
11. Braid additional twine to make a hook and tie and hot glue it to the top of the bow

  • Chocolate bark (brown or white)
  • Double boiler or 2 pans of similar size
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie Sheet

My family loves to make candy at Christmas. Melting white or dark chocolate is so easy and versatile. You can add almost anything to it andyou can cover almost anything with the chocolate!  This time I took a large candy cane and crushed it and mash it into the white chocolate and then broke it into pieces. It is not only delicious but it makes an attractive holiday table decoration as well.
